On our last trip to Tokyo, the wife and I decided that we should take half a day to visit Spoon Sports and grab some sweet shots.
A 15 min walk from Ogikubo Station [荻窪駅] sits Spoon Sports, whose friendly staffs kindly told us they're just an office, and that Type One (their workshop) is another 10 min walk down the same road.
Having visited Spoon Sports and Type One many years ago with A&J (aj-racing.com), I knew where I was going and we quickly found our destination.
A blue and yellow NSX-R greets us right at the second-floor entrance. At this point I already need new underpants, but I kept my cool :p I told the gentleman wrenching under a Honda Jazz that I'm le Canadian and asked if it's cool for me to photograph literally everything in the shop. He nodded yes so out comes the 5D.
Aside from the NA2 Race car, Spoon has recently posted up their Race S2K up for sale and I could spot the car sitting in the corner. One of the techs had just pulled an engine out of a DC5 and was working around there so I didn't want to disturb his work by getting too close.
A super clean, white S600 also sits in the middle of the shop. I drooled all over it for a bit until my wife pointed out that there's another one sitting up above us, and that she likes the other one more (it's Mint colored).
Anyway, enjoy the photos! :)
